OVERVIEW
About Me
I’m currently a Product Designer at Perch Sensing, a wildfire prediction and prevention startup based in the Bay Area. As the lead product designer, I drive the end-to-end product development process, from research and strategy to design and implementation, ensuring intuitive and impactful user experiences.
My passion for user experience design has driven me to constantly explore and learn the best practices and patterns that lead to effective solutions. I strive to design intuitive experiences that solve real problems and keep users connected, empowered, and engaged.
MY JOURNEY
2022
Graduated from Cal Poly SLO with a BA in Graphic Design
As a student here I learned visual design, print, and interaction design. I also participated in multiple hackathons and was involved in many student clubs, a department research project, and a Cal Poly startup.
Full-time Graphic Designer at Five9, a Global Tech Company
I used my knowledge in graphic design as a designer on a lean marketing team. In this position I worked remotely on a wide variety of projects, such as book layout, web design, presentations, and more.
Product Designer at Perch Sensing, a Wildfire Prevention Startup
After a few years as a graphic designer, my interests turned towards user experience. So I took my sharpened visual design skills and applied them to designing an impactful product to help residents in high-risk areas understand and take action to lower their wildfire risk.
Completed the Google UX Certificate
In early 2025, I finished the final course of the Google UX Certificate! This is a rigorous, industry-recognized program that covers the end-to-end UX design process, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
TODAY
Looking for My Next Story
Right now, I’m working on my new portfolio, picking up new skills, and connecting with others in the UX and product design community.
I’ll also be going on adventures with my cat, trying out new local restaurants, and traveling around the state finding beautiful places to paint.
